Every fifth Sunday, the Table Community Church in Fort Worth, hosts Serve Sunday where instead of worshiping within the wall of their church, they reach out into the community. We are thankful they have chosen to serve at VOA Texas every fifth Sunday.

Substance abuse treatment Program

Our addiction treatment and recovery programs address not only the addiction itself, but also issues like poverty, homelessness and abuse that arise from chemical dependency. We are committed to helping clients gain sure footing in sobriety so that they can reclaim what was lost and become productive members of their families and society. Programs include: outpatient addiction treatment, programs for pregnant women and women with children, parenting classes, job preparation and training programs, financial support services, housing placement, and treatment for domestic abuse/trauma. Tracy Krause

Resolana: Tracy Krause

Resolana, a program of Volunteers of America Texas, provides gender-specific programming to female offenders, beginning inside the Dallas County Jail and continuing through their re-entry into the community. Our goals are to increase readiness for change on the inside, to increase the use of existing community resources on the outside, and to reduce recidivism.

Volunteers helping after Hurricane Harvey

VOATX Harvey Help

Despite receiving damage to two of its properties as a result of Hurricane Harvey, VOA Texas has cleaned up and opened its doors to the Houston community by distributing emergency and basic needs supplies. Your donation can make a difference and help those impacted by the storm for the long haul.
